Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC)

Vision

To be a catalyst for quality assurance and enhancement in higher education at CPMR, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in teaching, learning, and research aligned with national and international standards.

Mission

To establish and maintain robust quality assurance mechanisms, promote best practices in curriculum design and delivery, support faculty development, and ensure that CPMR’s programs meet the expectations of stakeholders and accrediting bodies.

Objectives

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with HEC and institutional requirements.
  • Coordinate program reviews, self-assessments, and external evaluations.
  • Support curriculum development and outcome-based education (OBE) implementation.
  • Facilitate faculty training and development for teaching and assessment.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from students, alumni, and employers for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for accreditation and quality audits.

About QEC

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the College of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation works under the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. It is responsible for promoting a culture of quality across academic and support functions, ensuring that our programs remain relevant, effective, and recognized nationally and internationally.

The QEC team collaborates with faculty, administration, and students to implement quality assurance processes, conduct periodic program reviews, and prepare for institutional and program-level accreditation.
